why doesn't it charge directly like others.And then it is such a hassle because it won't stick to the charger long enough to charge. why do you have to have an extra device to charge it. a couple of minutes later it just turns off and you have to giggle it to start charging again.I do not recommend this specific item to anyone. Best sound through the earpiece and best sound transmitting to anyone else and I use mine about 3 to 4 hours a day of talking and everyone I talk to never has a problem hearing me or me hearing them in short the best earpiece on the market This is the third 640 I have purchased in the last 3 years.I have gotten free ones from my cell phone company but I always go back to Plantronics the only problem I have with it is if you work outdoors in a very hot climate like south Florida if you sweat alot the moisture goes into the microphone and will ruin it. Solution dont use it if your going to sweat alot.
Overall I found it comfortable, lightweight and had good sound quality. Also was disappointed that gels come in kits with all three sizes, therefore regardless of what size you need, out of a full package, you will only be able to use two of the six purchased. I did have some difficulty figuring out just how to attach earbud gels so they fit just right.
This is light, and functions well. It's a great ear piece for me because I don't like bulky things hanging from my ear. Ordering the Plantronic Bluetooth earpiece was easy, quick, and arrived in just a couple of days. I could not be happier with the service and ease of ordering.
It is pretty clear I have not had any problems with static. This does fit comfortably in the ear and does not fall out if positioned properly. I think so far this is the best one for the money. I have owned several different bluetooth headsets. When I purchased this one I was hoping it would fit nicely in my ear and not fall out like other ones I had in the past.
